Assistant Principal - Deep Learning
Louise Hall is an Assistant Principal in Deep Learning at Outwood Academy Normanby, with responsibility for Teaching, Learning and Assessment. She was appointed to this role in September 2015 at its predecessor, Hillsview Academy, having previously held the position of Director of Learning for Communications.
Prior to this, Louise was Head of English and Assistant Head of Sixth Form at Eston Park Academy, and also taught English at Rye Hills School in Redcar and at Trinity Catholic College in Middlesbrough, gathering experience in a variety of roles including literacy coordinator, leader of KS4 English and ITT mentor.
Louise started her teaching career in 1997. She holds a BA (Hons) degree in English and worked in the finance sector in Berkshire before completing her PGCE at Durham University. She is fully committed to helping all young people to achieve their potential.
